Another personal D&D illustration. I've seen a lot of Moebius art recently, and this is a result of a major build up of inspiration.

I went through many itterations of the color composition here. 

Especially the hand, choosing colors for every faced of the crystal was so complex.

It was important that the hand shape read clearly.

I went from flat shading to light painted look to these gradients.

Strangely, this was the most formative moment to finding the final artstyle of the piece.

I realized the black BG was not enough.
